Starting with a very low investment capital but with an abundance of determination and resourcefulness, Nicole MacDuff bought the much needed construction materials from "end-of-lines", bankruptcies and recycled them for use in her new facility. |

Today, MANOIR KANISHA is housed in a lovely blue and white-trimmed structure offering the very latest in pet care. Mrs. MacDuff, one of the few women heading this kind of enterprise, worked alone many years with just occasional help; today, she is assisted by a personally trained team of 14 employees. MANOIR KANISHA is one of the few Canadian members of the American Boarding Kennel Association (ABKA), a group of select kennels located world-wide. |
